Privacy Policy
Chesspy has no accounts, collects no personal information such as your name, email or contacts, and shows no ads. This page explains what the app stores on your device and which anonymous information reaches third-party services.
1. Stored only on your device
The following never leaves your device and is deleted with the app:
- Puzzle records: completion per day, time, mistakes, hints used, grade
- The state of a board in progress
- Settings: sound, haptics, reminder, colour-blind palette, practice size, tutorial completion
- Your Pro purchase status (local cache)
2. Third-party services

These services process data under their own policies: RevenueCat, TelemetryDeck, Supabase.
3. Permissions
- Notifications: only if you turn the reminder on, a local notification at 9 am. No server is involved.
- Add to Photos: add-only access used when you tap "Save image" to save a result card. The app never reads your photo library.
4. Sharing
Tapping "Share" hands the result text and image to the iOS share sheet; you choose where it goes. The app keeps no copy.
5. Tracking and ads
No ads, no advertising identifier (IDFA), no tracking across apps or websites.
6. Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from users of any age.
7. Changes
When this policy changes, the effective date above is updated. Significant changes are also noted in the app's release notes.
